Erik has worked diligently and been part of the transformational process to grow the theatre department to its current robust state, as a vital and necessary part of the School of Performing Arts, Linda Berry Stein College of Fine Arts, and the University.

Erik has energetically pursued scholarship in the application of theatre outside of production, while maintaining a healthy schedule of artistic endeavors and pursuits in directing and performance.

Erik has served on multiple university committees and task forces, including the special summer task force in response to the coronavirus pandemic.  He serves currently as the chair of the Student Life committee and is a member of the university QEP Committee.
